Blast fiends unite! The day has finally come. “Nightbringers”, the brand new album from The Black Dahlia Murder is now available in stores and on digital music services everywhere. Metal Blade Records has done a very cool thing and put up the entire album up on their YouTube so you can give it a listen before you buy. We recommend watching the even more badass vinyl live stream version. Also, be sure to check out our official review of the album for a more in-depth analysis of the record.
On to this weeks countdown. Due to the fact that a lot bands put out several songs for new albums close together resulting in multiple tracks being on the countdown from the same band we’re changing things up a bit. Now, whenever a band earns more than one spot on the list we’ll add an additional song from a different band to make sure the top 10 countdown always has a least 10 different artists/bands.
This is needed this week for sure because topping our list is “Kings of the Nightworld“, the third single from The Black Dahlia Murder, and currently our pick for “Best Metal Song 2017”. We’ve also got a new one from Veil of Maya called “Doublespeak“. Here’s the full list:
